Imposible Detener

A selection of contemporary painters active in the city of Puebla (and nearby Tlaxcala), presenting 45 artists that have locally succeed in «contemporary art» particularly in figurative, surrealist, landscape and abstract styles, along with some examples of their evolution from the «costumbrista» formats, and the Mexican School and the Ruptura movements. This illustrated catalogue includes three generation of local artists that express their art through traditional or innovative painting techniques with worldwide influences (Japanese, European and American). Some of the artists mentioned include: Samuel Macnaught, Baruch Vergara H., María Teresa Colín Escalona, Alberto Ibáñez, Cerda, Dalia Monroy, José Villalobos, Mihael Dalla Valle amongst others.
