I print in italics the text of the leaves which have been replaced and make no attempt to conform the spel ling to that of the original Ms. There is no colored ink used in E and there are no head lines. Twice, however, there are titles written in the margin and these I reproduce. The word jimda also occurs in the margin, opposite 896 b. The idle flourishes which are found occasionally and which it is apparent from the ink were not added by the original copyist I disregard.
