Sobre Finismundo

In an introductory note, author explains the genesis of his latest poem as an allegory of the search for adventure, compared with the lack of adventure of contemporary modern life , i.e., contrasting the Homeric seafaring Odyssus with the urban Joycean Ulysses. Work is inspired by a canto from Dantes Inferno about the last voyage of Odyssus. Storys basic framework is a semilogical model: the violation of interdiction, the adversary of which is destiny or God, with elements from the medieval Greco-Latin tradition –Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
